Although he’s never been elected to any office (not for lack of trying), Al Sharpton remains a permanent fixture in politics. He just never seems to go away. He continues to speak out on countless issues. And while no one seems to be listening, every network is more than willing to put him on TV. Why not, right? He’s the Don King of politics. Is it just me, or do they look alike? All he does is create controversy by crying racism over everything, so he can reap the benefits of being in the public eye. Unfortunately, our media has not figured out that Al Sharpton is the boy who cried wolf. They are all too eager to indulge his every plea. How many times have we seen this play out? He’s always on TV, clamoring for racial justice, even when it makes no sense. He has trained the American people to ignore him. When most people see him on TV, they change the channel. Why hasn’t our media figured this out? For once, I’m glad they haven’t…
In the never-ending circus that is Michael Jackson’s death, Al Sharpton was photographed at a “celebration” of Jackson’s life and legacy. The party was held at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, where the Jackson 5 got their start. Al Sharpton can be seen dancing on-stage with Spike Lee, to Jackson’s greatest hits. Unfortunately for him, Sharpton can also be seen grinding on a random Jackson fan. From the looks of the woman, I would bet this little dry-humping charade will cost Rev. Sharpton a trip to the clinic! I would also bet that he’ll be on TV tomorrow, crying racism over the positive test results. Oh Al… just give it a rest! You cheapen the struggle of blacks across the world, when you whine like a little bitch. MLK and Jackie Robinson would be ashamed.
